An original artwork of a Grasshopper Warbler by Amanda Gosse.
The grasshopper warbler, so called because of its grasshopper-like, almost mechanical call, is a small, brown passerine bird, approximately 13cm in length. A summer visitor to the UK, they can be heard from April to August but rarely seen as they tend to reside in thick foliage, rarely taking to the wing.
Gouache paint on high quality 300gsm watercolour paper.
A4 – 29.7cm x 21cm (8.27 × 11.69 inches). IMPORTANT: Please state your preferred option, from the following three, in the notes at checkout: Black mount, white mount or no mount.
