Birthstone Challenge Completed!

Throughout the year I have been painting each of the twelve birthstones. It has been a really enjoyable project and a pleasure to focus on (for the most part) one colour group at a time. 

My favourite gemstone is tanzanite, which I have yet to paint, but it is on the to-do-soon list. My birthstone is diamond, what's yours and is it your favourite gemstone?
