Gemstones and Jewellery Artworks

Original paintings of precious gemstones and antique jewellery, in gouache and acrylic.

This collection brings together my paintings of gemstones and jewellery, including the full set of twelve birthstones, painted one for each month of the year, alongside studies of antique brooches and other treasures. I've collected antique jewellery for most of my life, with a particular interest in Australian pieces, and many of the items I paint come from my own collection. Some works are painted in acrylic on canvas board, others in gouache and coloured pencil on watercolour paper, depending on the piece and the effect I'm after.
All paintings are original, one-of-a-kind artworks, signed on the front and supplied with a certificate of authenticity. Many artworks are also available as giclée fine art prints, including the complete birthstone set.
