Amanda was fortunate enough to begin her career during the final years of traditional graphic art and design. She learnt her craft at a drawing board, rather than a computer, producing technical illustrations by hand, dry-transfer lettering with Letraset, preparing artwork for print and designing logos. Prior to this, she worked at a printing company, typesetting with lead type for print runs on an antique Heidelberg letterpress printer.

Amanda produced work for airlines, retail brands and national campaigns, including posters displayed across the London Underground. She then progressed to dynamic advertising agencies and design studios in London and Sydney, working with clients such as Marks & Spencer, Harrods, Fortnum & Mason, Qantas, and the Sydney 2000 Olympics. That foundation in traditional craft and commercial design is carried into every project, however small.

Amanda is also an accomplished artist, who sells her work via this website, and she has fine-tuned her online presentation over many years. She knows what to show, how to sequence it, and where to place the elements that need to be available, but should sit unobtrusively in the background.

As a long-time Shopify Partner, Amanda has run her own retail sites on the platform for over twelve years, while also creating stores for her clients. She knows the platform inside and out.
