Eastern Spinebill Study

Just finished is an Eastern Spinebill, which I painted in gouache on paper. I have been meaning to paint one of these beautiful Australian birds for some time, after learning that they are one of my Dad's favourite birds and, it was in his garden, that I saw one for the first time in 2019.
