Mistletoebird

At the end of last year my stepmum told me about a bird she was excited to have seen for the first time in her garden. She discovered when she looked it up, that it was a mistletoebird. With her birthday coming up, it was obvious what my next subject would be.

Mistletoebird Dicaeum hirundinaceum
The mistletoebird, as its name suggests, is fond of mistletoe berries. It is found in most areas of mainland Australia.
