Woodpecker Paintings

Since returning to the UK at the end of 2020, I have painted two of the three species of woodpeckers which are resident here — the green woodpecker and the greater spotted woodpecker. Both of these are reasonably common in Wiltshire, where I currently live. The less common lesser spotted woodpecker, I have yet to spot.
