A study of a King Parrot, an original gouache painting by Amanda Gosse.

The Australian king parrot (Alisterus scapularis) is a medium sized parrot endemic to eastern Australia. Easily recognised by their vibrant red and green plumage and high pitched whistle, they feed on chiefly on fruits and seeds.

Gouache paint and colour pencil on high quality 300gsm watercolour paper.

A4 — 21cm x 29.7cm.

Signed on the front. A certificate of authenticity will be provided with the artwork. The painting will arrive unframed, in a protective cellophane envelope.
