Instantly recognisable by its enormous pink bill—the largest of any bird species—and beautiful black and white plumage, it's a masterful glider, soaring on thermals with barely a wingbeat. I've painted this one in gouache and coloured pencil, capturing its bold markings in a small format. Did you know?
