Original Gouache Painting

A carrion crow original gouache painting by Amanda Gosse.

The carrion crow, scientific name Corvus corone, is a handsome, all-black member of the corvid family. Generally shy around humans, the carrion crow is among the most intelligent birds on the planet, capable of problem solving, utilising tools and mimicking human speech and other sounds. Male and female are virtually the same, having a glossy black plumage, iridescent in certain lights.

Gouache paint and colour pencil on high quality 300gsm watercolour paper.
A3 — 42cm x 29.7cm.

Signed on the front. A certificate of authenticity will be provided with the artwork. The painting will arrive unframed, in a protective cellophane envelope.
