Original Gouache Painting
A jay original gouache painting by Amanda Gosse.
The Jay, scientific name Garrulus glandarius, is an illusive bird found across most of the British Isles, parts of Europe, Asia and North Africa. More often heard than seen, it has a mainly muted peach and black plumage with a beautiful flash of blue patterning on its wings. A member of the corvidae family, the jay has a loud, rasping call and is easily identified in flight by its bright white rump.
Gouache paint and colour pencil on high quality 300gsm watercolour paper.
A4 — 21cm x 29.7cm.
Signed on the front. A certificate of authenticity will be provided with the artwork. The painting will arrive unframed, in a protective cellophane envelope.
