The pacific black duck is commonly seen in most parts of Australia and other Pacific countries. Normally seen in pairs or small flocks, these beautiful birds are mostly brown with cream and dark stripes across their head and with a stunning wing flash of iridescent feathers which change colour through teal, turquoise, deep blue and purple.
