About my Picture Box collection I set each miniature painting into a sturdy, square, black cardboard gift box, which becomes its frame, similar looking to a floating frame. On the reverse of each box is a silk cord, allowing the artwork to be hung on a tiny hook, alternatively, the depth of the box also means that the tiny painting can simply stand on a surface, as shown in the example image here. Beautifully presented and finished with a colour coordinated ribbon, these tiny works of art make delightful gifts.
