Original Gouache Painting

An original artwork of a bullfinch. These gorgeous birds are occasional visitors to my garden. They are a member of the finch family and the male's beautiful padparadscha bellies are contrasted by smart grey and black plumage with a flash of white, revealed when they take flight. The female is equally beautiful, in muted shades, they look very much as if the saturation scale has been slid down on a photo of the male.
