The Eastern Whipbird (Psophodes olivaceus) is a passerine insectivorous bird native to the east coast of Australia. Known for its unusual and impressive song, which resembles a whip-crack and is often immediately answered by a two note call from a nearby female, this dark olive green, black and white small bird is illusive, usually foraging and moving around in the vegetation.
