Bird Fine Art Giclée Print – Song Thrush
The song thrush (Turdus philomelos) is one of Britain's finest singers – its rich, deeply melodic song, delivered from a high perch with each phrase repeated two or three times, is one of the defining sounds of the British countryside. Warm brown above and cream below, the distinctive dark spots on its breast are its most recognisable feature. The song thrush is also known for its resourceful habit of using a favourite stone as an anvil to break open snail shells, a technique passed down through generations. Once a common garden bird, its numbers declined significantly in the latter decades of the twentieth century, and it remains on the amber conservation list. This giclée reproduction print illustrates the song thrush in fine detail and would make a thoughtful gift for an ornithologist or gardener.
This is a reproduction of Song Thrush (2026).
